Moving a server to another part of network and still keeping it as a server
Help! My boss wants me to move one of the servers on the company network to the place where another computer on the network is. I have no idea about networks or hardware. All I know is making webpages. The diagram of the network looks very complicated. Just how am I going to do this without killing the internet connection or removing everyones LAN connection? Do I just put one cable in one of the hubs in the place of where the other cable is in yet another hub?

theoretically yes, but it could be more complicated. Does your company have a dedicated Information Technology department, or a company they outsource to?
