Hi all,
I am having problem in my linux server.
I am using redhat 9.0 with default iptables rpm.
I have Nat of this server. I run iptraf and found the following broadcast mac address ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff This mac address is creating problem in my network. A buch of bandwidth is consuming by that mac.
can any one tell me for stop this mac address or solve the Broadcast problem.

To see some broadcast on a LAN is a normal thing... Now if you have reasons to believe that there are too many broadcast, look at the source MAC address that is generating those broadcast.
I never used "iptraf" but I'm sure you should be able to see where those broadcast are coming from and then you know which machine to investigate.
Why do you think those broadcast are creating problems?
