I assume your campus is running NAT if you have a non-routable address in the ranges such as 10.0.0.0, 172.16.0.0, 192.168.0.0.
Not realy if your using some form of NAT, particulary if the advertise nat is realy pat. Your ip headers of the packets that go on to the net would be changed at the gateway.
What reasons do you want a net address for?
I need just for taking music and movies from other hubs not only from those from my campus... My ip adress looks like 10.15.0.56
