Help setting up Fedora Firewall/router
I'm new to Linux and require help setting up a hardware Firewall/router on my home network. I have installed the basic requirements of Fedora Core 1 onto an old 400MHz PC. Install went ok but I am now lost as to what to do next... Can anyone help me with the following:
1. Connecting to the web via a dial-up (pppd) - creating a script file to run everytime I choose to connect.
2. Setting up the network - IP addresses etc. (with a W2K server and laptop running XP home)
3. Setting Firewall rules
The install only installed the min required, so no graphic desktop etc.
All advice is welcome, I do have experiance of networking windows systems but not a clue about Linux...
