How to See Unbloc the port ?

Hi everybody

I need to unbloc the port , I want to know which file i need to edit to do the same ?

Will namp Command Work in RHEL 4.0 ? If so wat is the exact usage for this ?

I would Appreciate if any one come forward to help me ,.,.,

you can configure iptables,add a rule to /etc/sysconfig/iptables to allow that port

nmap is a port scanner.It dtermines which of your ports are open.It also has other uses(you can refer to man page)
