HTTP Tunnel in Linux?
I'm changing my OS from Windows to Linux and I have this problem. I connect to the Internet through a restrictive proxy at work which only open port is the 80. While I was using Windows I used an application from http://www.http-tunnel.com named http-tunnelclient.exe which gives the chance to the user of using programs like Gaim and Emule that need other ports than 80 to be opened. I searched the net looking for a similar program for Linux but I didn't find anything that meet my needs. Can anybody here help me?
if you know someone with a unix box on another conection you could try ssh
I don't know anyone
Yes I guess I could do that, but I don't know anyone in a full connection. But thanks anyway.
