KVM Switch Using Win & Linux
I want to be able to use a KVM switch to go back and forth between 2 pc's, one with WINXP and the oteher with Linux,(have not decided on which version yet). But from what I can find only the Zonet and some Belkin switches work. I need USB and audio. :D
Re: KVM Switch Using Win & Linux
I use a KVM switch on my desktop all the time. I have an Athlon-2800+ on one side of the switch, and an Athlon-1100+ on the other side. And it works great for switching between PCs. It has no problem switching from Linux to WinXP.

As for audio, why not have separate speakers. Speakers are cheap. And besides, with duplicate speakers, its nice to hear a "beep" from the computer you don't have active on your monitor, to let you know it needs attention....
KVM switches are great for multiple PCs
My "biggest regret" (if one can call it that) about my KVM, is I didn't buy one to handle 4xpc's, instead of just 2 pc's. I like to play with multimedia, and on more than one occasion I have had both my pc's running 100%, and thinking how nice it would be to have a 3rd or 4th pc ....
