i am trying to create a dialup using KPPP and i am trying to qwery my modem, but the dialog list appears of ati, ati1 etc... but the boxes are empty. I think that my computer is reading my modem correctly or something, what do you suggest ?

If the boxes are empty, then you have the wrong device selected. In KPPP you can select other devices for the modem. Try some of these to find it. If you don't find it that way, it is possible that you don't have the proper driver installed for the modem.
