Ndiswrapper install using YUM on SuSE 10.x

[root]# yast -i yum
first to install yum with dependencies (best option)
or download the source directly from duke.edu ftp site, see Download on their site:-
choose tar 'yum-2.6.0.tar.gz'.
do as root
If you prefer rpm builds (see http://www.linuxnovice.org/main_how....W=VIEW&t_id=52 how to do this.
tar zxf yum-2.6.0.tar.gz
To check yum is there
[root]# rpm -qa | grep yum
(or something like that - show yum is installed OK and version)
for yum options
the repositories are stored at,
[root]# cd /etc/yum.repos.d
and check they are correct and present.
Im sure its worth the effort, but others may disagree!
