Does your PC obtain an IP address via DHCP, or is it static? (Im talking about your PC, NOT your router/internet connection).

If you have a really **** router, or your PC has a static IP address, you will need to edit /etc/resolv.conf yourself, and add your ISP's nameservers like so:
Replacing the 194.xxxx IP addresses with the IP addresses of your own ISP's DNS servers.
