nmb service
hi,
where is the nmb service?
all of a sudden my network does not work anymore,
when I go to yast and into the samba server, hitting finish, it says that the nmb service could not be run?
how to run it or why is it not loaded?
I did not change anything and it stopped running for some reason...
thnx,
davy

The nmb daemon is part of the samba package, so it would have been installed with samba. You should be able to configure samba to automagically start nmbd when it starts samba. If you can't do this via yast, you can also check your rc-scripts to make sure that nmbd is either it's own and executable or run from the samba rc-script. Alternatively, you can run /usr/sbin/nmbd as root. 8)
