problem in fedora core 4
Initially i was using redhat and now i had switched over to fedora core 4. I dont understand why netconfig command to configure network is not working, but ifconfig command is working well. And now i am using setup command to configure the network.
And also can u please help me how to make host name and domain name permanent.

In FC 2 forward, it's:
Yes i got it
Thanks for ur reply,
Yes i had got it, and one more question i have is where to give domain name and how to make it permanent.
Use the tool suggested above - 'system-config-network' - it sets the networking up reasonably well. It writes the configuration for the network into the file /etc/sysconfig/network and the directory /etc/sysconfig/networking. Personally, I've always found it easier to use this tool.
