Redhat 6.2

Hello all, This is the first time ive used linux and I am trying to get the hang of it. One of my friends gave me a pentium 1 with redhat 6.2 on it. I would like to connect it to my regular computer for filesharing. So here are the questions, can I use ethernet to connect them? What do I have to edit to get it to work? And anybody any good help sites?

6.2 is quite old but I think I might have some ideas
first as root in a term click
setup
this should open a menu one of which is networking and yes you can connect with an ethernet. if you don't get anyware with setup try
linuxconf
