remote-to-remote file synchronization using ftp

Hello,

I have some space at a remote server with some bandwidth to spare. I want to offer that space to mirror a small rpm-repository. However, I don't want to use by local hard-drive a a swap for this purpose.
I want a remote-to-remote file transfer utility, which runs on Linux and is a freeware (GPLed ones are better), that can be used to directly synchronize the two servers. Well, one way synchronization will also do.

Please suggest me how to do it. I googled but unfortunately couldn't locate an appropriate one.

The package you require is called 'rsync'. It's ace. Check it's manpage, you might have to install it through your package manager first. Or just google it.
