Sharing a drive from one Linux machine to another.

OK folks. I've have tried dutifully to find my answer without asking the question. But all I come up with is answers that pertain to Samba/SMB volumes.

What is the absolute best practice for sharing a hard drive between 2 Linux boxes. I know I can do it with Samba, but since Samba was meant to provide Windows sharing functionality to Linux, I figure that there might be a "native" approach to drive sharing that would be better to use.

I think Samba would be the best to use, since it is designed to link two computers of any OS.

NFS is native and there are some others as well, but NFS just works fine on a *nix network.

NFS is the best way to share to Unx system. :)

Yes I agree with swemic, NFS is the best and simplest way to share anything from a single directory to an entire drive in *nix nets.
