vyatta as router? vytool as configuration manager?
Dear Linux network enthusiasts,
Company for which I work needs to build a bunch of office networks, connected by VPN.
My mission is to configure routers and VPN tunnels.
I'm not novice to network, but not a big expert in Linux,
I used to configure CISCO and Juniper hardware,
before my company decided to try OpenSource routers.
I've chosen Debian-based Vyatta router distribution.
Will use OpenVPN for VPN.
For configuration and certificate management
I've chosen vytool utility: vyatta4people.org/vytool
Sorry for posting link...
My question is:
Do you think it is a good solution, I mean both Vyatta and Vytool?
Maybe you can name other alternatives? What do you use on your router?
What do you think is really good OpenSource router?
I don't want to ask that questions on Vyatta forum, cause it may be offensive to Vyatta...
