Deleting linux
Is there a way to reformat a Linux partition so that windows xp will use it again? My friend tried Linux out on a partition of her HD and its haveing a lot of issues (she has a very unique wireless problem that is not linux compatible) and want her full HD space back.
I have a Gparted disk, but I don't want to screw over her whole Hard Drive, or the Master Boot Record."Do or do not...there is no try" -Yoda

Yes, you'll need to delete the Linux partition then resize the Windows partition. Of course when working with partitions there's always a risk that you might corrupt something. If in doubt, make backups.
You can find good documentation for using the Gparted LiveCD here:

Thank you very much. I figured that was all I needed to do, but I wanted an experts know how before hand.

Note that if you are booting into your chosen OS from GRUB right now, GRUB will stop working once the Linux partition is deleted, so you'll also need to remove GRUB from the MBR and restore the Windows loader.
