I have just installed Fedora 6.0 on my computer. But I have finished it, then I plug the internet cable on my computer, Fedora 6.0 cannot automatic connect when I accress on Firefox.
Can you help how I can connect Internet on Fedora 6.0?

Help me connect Internet after installing Fedora 6.0
Hi scm,
I use dialup Internet, ADSL modem - speed Touch.
Can you help to surface on the Web ? I wanna search on the web brower when I type the address.

There's two stages to getting online using dial-up. First you have to make the connection and get pppd working. This is the low-level program that handles the actual data transfers in both directions. There are several Linux programs that can do that, e.g. ppp-on/chat, wvdial, kppp. I used to use wvdial in Red Hat (the precursor to Fedora) because I found it easy to set up. Then you use Firefox or another browser to visit sites.
