hi everyone i just bought a new computer, so my old one has some life to it still
i have windows 2000 pro on it and i am wondering if i should uninstall everything
and install a version of linux or just keep windows 2000 pro and uninstall everything else and use linuxlive and boot from the cd the cpu is a intel celeron
733 with a 20g hard drive i just want to keep it if vista should have any problems as a back up and maybe for my old games thanks nefertem ps and witch version of linux would be best for a fresh installation

Keep in mind that Linux is not the best OS for heavy gaming, but there are ways of playing games under Linux. You can check out the link in my signature for lots of good information on getting started with Linux.
