Question Changing Mouse from USB to PS2

This is my first foray into the world of Linux
I installed DSL on an old 226MHz Pent II and can't get the PS/2 mouse port to work. Mouse works OK in a USB port. Can someone tell me how do I change the settings for the system to recognize the PS/2 mouse port. I
think I may have specified a USB mouse when I did the DSL install

It will probably be a setting in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. Look in the Mouse's device section for something like:
    Protocol "USB"
Set this value to "Auto" and it should then work with basically any mouse you put in.
