Help finding out about Linux LVM features

Hi, I don't know too much about Linux and I need help finding out about these features for a report... I am trying to find out when certain features were supported/included in the Linux kernel - these are all volume management features. I realize that these are probably somewhat archaic... I also need actual documentation of their existence in Linux (preferably with a date/version reference...) Can anybody help, or at least point me somewhere else that would be useful? I've generally searched online, but it seems like somebody would a tiny bit of Linux LVM experience could probably answer this very easily... hopefully!

    volume management features:
    - Protection of sector zero (label protection)
    - duplication of configuration data
    - subdividable logical partitions
    - on-line configuration
    - fully dynamic reconfiguration
    - plug and play disk support
    - disk relocation with unique labels and automatic recognition
    - disk grouping
    - remotability
    - volume set support
    - resizing of volume sets
    - hot sparing
    - migration of data to free space prior to disk failure (evacuation)
    - unlimited number of maximum drives in set

shoot some e-mails to some websites. The Linux Kernel Archives has an archive of kernels and i'm sure they'd be able to answer all sorts of questions
