    Drowning in a Beryl

I've been using Ubuntu Linux for a month or two now and decided to try my hand at Beryl. I sudo apt-get installed it and the ran beryl... It went through a couple compatibility checks and then continued. And then I could no longer move windows and new ones popped up over my xfce4 panel. I closed the terminal but that made it worse (I lost the task list). I logged out and started a new xfce session but that did nothing. What can I do?
I should inform you that the computer only has 256 MB of RAM. In my defense I thought it would just be a session choice.

It works well. Thanks. I suppose I should have done a bit more research before coming here for help.
