Bottom Task Bar?
I need one of two things....
I would love to have someone help me get avant-window-navigator up and running correctly. I had the software working but had done it through apt-get and was trying to patch it, was told that I had to install from source, so I did "apt-get remove" and then tried from source. Now I'm having some issues (icons are small, some icons don't appear, no preferences when I right click). I really like the software so would like to get it up but if that's not possible I'll go with the second option. (Oh yeah, apt-get is no longer supporting avant from what I see....)
I had deleted the bottom panel when I installed avant, I would like to bring it back if possible and I'll just use that until avant is fixed. If I do do this then I would like to completely remove avant. How do I do this when I installed from source using ./configure etc....With apt-get it's a simple "remove" but with source I believe it's different.
Thanks all!

P.S. If anyone has another suggestion for a cool lookin "mac like" window navigator that is relatively easy to install I would love to know about it. Thanks again

I haven't used Avant yet, but to bring back the bottom panel you right click on the top panel (or any other one) and select 'New Panel'. You can then add back the window list and any other parts to it by right clicking the new panel.
