    video codec issue

I thought that I had all the major video codecs installed but I came across one that I guess I don't have, this is the error I get when playing it:

    video/x-asf-unknown decoder
    Windows Media Audio 9 decoder

I looked for it but couldn't find it anywhere, if anyone knows where I can find this or if it comes in a package that would be even better. Thanks

What multimedia app are you using? If using a gstreamer based app, try installing xine based apps e.g. totem-xine and win32 codecs.

    Pretty sure already installed :(

I am almost positive I already installed this package...I can run wmv files with no problem (as well as avi). This is the first time I've hit a problem and it is with trying to watch the demo video of halowars at halowars.com

    still no good

tried xine and did the new essentials pack. Here is the error

Video codec 'WVC1' is not handled. You might need to install additional plugins to be able to play some types of movies

This is the only video in the past few months that I haven't been able to play but it's bugging me that I can't get it. Thanks all
