I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimate of how long it takes to create a driver for linux after a product is released. I had my computer recently replaced by Dell (pretty cool upgrade) but it only has an express card. I have a 5.1 sound system that I would love to be able to use in Linux and Creative just recently released an Express Card that is THX certified. I'm hoping someone can give me a "guess" of how long until I will be able to use it in Linux (I hate having to boot into Windows just to listen to music clearer). Thanks everyone.
