Keyboard wont work when trying to install
I have a new computer with new components so i think that may be the problem.
When i boot from the fedora or mandriva dvd the keyboard wont let me choose an option to install and thus after a period of time it automatically boots me into winblows xp.
If i could get some help getting me through this initial problem that would be fantastic.

Toggle Legacy USB Support in BIOS.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Thanks a lot casper that worked like a charm.
Now i have another problem.
Mandriva is not recognizing my cd/dvd drive.
Any ideas on that one? Also if you want to recommend a different distro for me that would be ok too.
I also use wireless internet with a d-link card if that makes a difference.

Glad to help you.

Distro Choice is on you only. Check this POLL.
Check the link in my signature too.
In that case, I would suggest Ubuntu only.I also use wireless internet with a d-link card if that makes a difference.Last edited by devils casper; 09-03-2007 at 05:58 PM. Reason: forgot to add link. :-)
