Deleted panel Icons help
i accidently deleted my network icon and my update icon now my top panel is all screwy is there a way to get them back or do a system restore type thing or restore the top panel to default some one please help

Did you try right-clicking the panel to see if it give you the option to get them back?

ya i tried adding to panel but i cant get the default icons back. I put the network manager from administration but it dosent display my wireless options or signal and i really need that cuz im constantly switching wireless signal. Is there a way to like restore it to default.

This might not work but you can try renaming the Panel directory.
Open the nautilus file manager and navigate to your /home/username/.gconf/apps directory, then rename the Panel directory to something like PanelOLD.
Then log out of Gnome and back in, or reboot. If it worked, you can delete the PanelOLD directory. If not, we'll try another method.oz

sorry new to linux what is the nautilis file manager and how am i suppose to open it

You can open it with the Home folder button if there is one on your desktop. If not, look in your Places Menu for Home.

k im in the home folder but i dont have that as an option to find it.
