    RPMQ eating CPU

Noticed HD grinding constantly, check processes... RPMQ eating CPU and also network traffic maxing out. Killed RPMQ, cpu came down to 20%, network traffic and HD grinding remained. Logged in as root, using system monitor in the GUI, Fedora. How can tell who's running the HD and receiving network traffic?
