    i m using redhat 8....
    i m using leucent winmodem for windows and want to install it for redhat 8....
    plz tell me how to install the modem deiver in order to use internet .....

    you need to download scanmodem from here http://www.physcip.uni-stuttgart.de/heby/ltmodem/ run it and it will tell you what driver u need and where to get it from.

    also the how to, to install the driver http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/Linmodem-howto.html

    and also you can search rpmfind to find an rpm of the driver
