in my slackware 12
when i type
beryl in konsole windows
beryl runs
and halts
by saying
no X composite found
whats this...

I don't fool with Beryl, but I think you'll need to do this:

hi Ozar after reading your link
i edited my Xorg.conf file
and typed
Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Enable"
Option "RENDER" "Enable"
EndSectionAnd in your video driver section
Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "true"
straight after the end of
module section
and guess what ended up in getting kde failed
startx is not working
its giving error
no screen found
what to do now?
