Change the terminal settings for another user - colors, fonts, etc - how?!
Here's the situation:
I work at an all Linux company, and one of our more seasoned admins is fond of mucking up my terminal's variables - like suddenly I'll be typing with pink lettering on a green background.
He obviously thinks this is funny.
I've read the man page for setterm - but the -term flag followed by every incarnation I can think of to describe his terminal comes back as 'invalid' or 'argument error'
So he must not be doing it with setterm.
We're all using Putty, if that helps any, and I would really like to learn how to change his variables to get back at him.
If you can help - please teach me.

I think pink and green go well together... but if you insist...
I'm not familiar with Putty but this might help... if you were using Bash I'd be able to help you better.
UPDATE: DANG... I just realized the link is for Windows. I'd do a search on Google for something like "putty linux color scheme" or "change putty colors linux". Hope this helps you out.
