ubuntu update but....

I have updated Ubuntu to the new 7.10 but I am having some issues now:

I use Avant Window Manager and that was automatically removed but is now in the synaptic package manager but when I mark it for an install it is giving me the following error:

avant-window-navigator-bzr:
Depends: libawn-bzr but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libwnck18 (>=2.15.90) but it is not installable
Depends: libawn-bzr but it is not going to be installed

I don't know why those repos aren't in my list but could someone tell me what are the repos that have those files?


Another issue is that before I was using beryl-manager which was replaced with compiz in the new version of Ubuntu. I am fine with Compiz accept that I don't know how to get the compiz manager up so I can configure things like the cube. Can someone help me out with this as well?

I can't answer your first question, but the compiz manager can be found in "System -- Preference -- Advanced Desktop Effects Settings".
