I just upgraded to the new kubuntu 7.10, & everything was going fine when I tried to switch to the dual monitor mode, then I restarted the computer to see if it worked but I guess that was a mistake. I can watch the thing boot like normal but then as soon as it goes to the login screen all I see is black on both monitors, I think the comp. is still responsive, I can still ctrl+alt+del to reboot (and see the kubuntu shutting down screen), but I just can't see anything at the stage where I would log in. I can reboot in the prompt thing but is there a way to change my display settings back to default or something? I'm really stuck, I've looked everywhere on the net & I just can't find anything in noobie lingo. Please help! I'm pretty much at the stage of reinstalling kubuntu.
