    Hi - thanks for your question, but we'll need more details to have any hope of answering you:

    which operating system are you using?
    what make of network card?
    what type / make / model of modem or router?
    what have you tried so far to get connected?
    are you on broadband or dial-up?

    realtek inbuilt in intel 82865G
    when i tried to connect internet there was a a list to choose one of the simmilar linux products but i didnt know more about that much
    so i selected one of them now that list doesnt appear.

    i m using vector linux on my system with
    intel 82865G board
    intel pentium D dual core 2.8Gz
    i have problem connecting internet
    while going to network setting
    one msg "ur platform is not supported" along with a list of distro appears for choosing one simmillar.
    what is the best way to negotiate it.

    Maybe your local computer store as someone who uses Linux, you could ask them
