Keep getting DVD RIp error

Hi All,

I am trying to rip a few of my personal dvd's onto my hard drive and am having some problems. I am using the program DVDRIP that is available through synaptic package manager. When I try to rip the error is coming almost immediately....Thank you much.

Can you post the details of the error?

I tried looking for the details but it's not really giving any # or anything like that. When I click on the bottom progress bar it just has a list of what is to be done and on the first thing it says [error]. Is there a way that I can get the error to list? Thanks

Try to launch it in a terminal and see what errors it outputs there.
