    Sound coming from only one speaker!!

    Hello everyone,

    I am using Suse 10.1 and when I turned on my machine today and put some music on, the sound was coming out from one speaker.

    Can somebody please tell me how to fix this?
    It was working fine two days ago!!

    Check your mixer to see that the volume and PCM outputs are both running stereo outputs, each of which should be locked to their other side i.e. left and right for each channel should be bound together.

    If they are stereo they often have dual slider controls in your volume manager. Below that you should see a link sign to indicate that they are bound together.
