I am uploading about 17GB of songs to a 20GB (4th gen) iPod, using Rhythmbox Music Player. Some songs take quite a while. I know that iTunes converts some files... I hate this because it does it without asking. Does Rhythmbox convert files when they are uploaded to an iPod.

If so does anyone know of a program that will upload ogg vorbis and flac files to an ipod without changing them? Or can I just copy them to the iPod in the music folder?
