Installation Problem
Asus M2N and i cant get any linux distro to install, Fedora 7, SUSE 8 & 9, and Xandros all with same error ( no "linux"cdrom found" and cannot mount).
Tried all the variables in bios, apci apic disabled, HPET apic disabled. once the kernel is loaded "no cdrom". Please help! ...... most of them store bought live cd's
Asus M2N mobo
Amd x2 3800
NEC DVDRW 3550 Primary Slave or master
W.D. 160gig SATA 3rd Master
2x512 533mhz centon
7300 GT 512 PCI-E
"latest bios update"
