Which distro to install on RAID0 Intel 82801 GHM SATA RAID Controller

Hi this is my first month using linux. I've tried several new live cd's (Ubuntu, PCLOS, Linux Mint, Mandriva, Fedora 6 and 7, openSUSE)

I'm trying to move over to Linux for my 3d-needs (blender, sketchup+wine, kerkythea...) The problem is that while most LiveCD's run great - even detecting my default bluetooth keyboard and remote (ala Dell XPS m2010), only Fedora has been able to detect my systems RAID Setup. As far as i can tell from reading websites, I have Hardware RAID.

I like Fedora, the problem is that its pretty frustrating getting little stuff to work...stuff like my wireless. I'm currently dual-booting Fedora 7 and Windows Vista (i know thats not liked, but i have to).

Every other distro just detects two hard drives - but really they should be detecting one big hard drive. Is there a way that i can make any linux distro detect my raid0 setup so it can install to the array?...does fedora work because it uses the anaconda installer?...its been a very enlighenting month-but i've kinda hit a wall now.

My system:
Dell XPS m2010, Centrino Duo 2ghz, 2-120mb SATA hard drives with Raid0 Stripe using Intel 82801 GHM SATA RAID Controller, and Intel Matrix Storage Manager, Conexant Winmodem, Sigmatel High Definition Audio, ATI Mobility Radeon, Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 ABG Network Connection, Bluetooth Keyboad +Remote

here is what ive found so far. apparently i want to install to my "logical" disk, not my two ide drives.

is this link sending me up the right tree?:

i dont want to do anything that will ruin my raid setup and wipe out my hard drives...
