I have found a few great bits on

    The Linux Documentation Project

Particularly the Advanced Bash Scripting guide, which has served me well over the years.

I'd do an 'advanced search' of the coffee lounge too, for "linux books". You'll come up with lots of hits, some of which are free online books.

thank yall. Actually I already found my way to tldp when I posted this question. I have done several goole searches and a couple searches within this forum. I was just wondering what sites yall would suggest. Some times people know of great guides that are not easily found on google so I wanted to ask.
