I think Sabayon is considered a gamers-oriented distro.

If there is a 'gaming distro' I'm not aware of it. Then again I'm not really a serious game player. Windows is the best pc gaming platform probably.
Does AA stand for America's Army? There is an older version available for linux, or at least there was. Not much consolation if your friends are on a newer version. The linux version ran fine for me in both Suse and Mepis.

I've not used it, but LinuX-gamers looks to be as close to what you might be looking for as anything.
