linux is pronuced lin-ux, ive personaly never heard the other one... i could just be really really out of the loop, but the entire computer team at NIH uses the pronunciation lin-ux so ive used that. I think that fedora is
    f-A-door-a
but really, i rarely integrate my computer life and my normal life enough to say these words often. I always type them, so worry aobur speilling more then pronuciation.

For linux, listen to the sound files (ti's the great penguin speaking! )

or http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/SillySounds/ -- aslo has the Swedish version!

as for fedora, well, maybe [fed-ora] or [fe-do-ra]?

I pronounced it like line-ux for years - then 6 months ago I stumbled onto an audio file with Linus T. himself pronouncing it as lin-ux.

That was good enough for me!

(I still screw up and say line-ux sometimes though )

i think that there are so many ways to pronounce linux...the matter is that the way someone pronounces it doesn't mean anything.the fact that is using linux makes him unique!
