    AppArmor

I have managed to get opensuse KDE 10.3 installed on 2 computers and getting onlline with both.
With Windows i use F-Secure for my internet security which i can easily monitor and which I can see updating in my taskbar.
I believe an internet security program called AppArmor is part of the OpenSuse download but I don't see any sign of it either in the taskbar nor among my applications.
I would appreciate any help on this.
I also downloaded and burned another disc with OpenSuse which is add-on programs. How do I instal the contents of this disc. I don't even see my cd player anywhere.
As you can see, I am a complete novice with Linux but determined to conquer it although at first glance it seems daunting and nothing like windows

To access AppArmor, first start YaST, which is your generic system administration GUI for SUSE Linux. You should find YaST in your KDE startup menu. Once YaST has started, you will find "Novell AppArmor" in the menu on the left. For detailed help with AppArmor, check us out at Mercenarylinux.com

To install the contents of a disc, you again use YaST, and click "Software" and then click "Software Repositories". You then add your disc as a repository using that GUI.

With the disc repository added, you can then click on YaST->Software->Software Management and it will let you search for software to install.

Thanks for taking the time to look and reply. I have followed your link and am now a lot wiser. I am new to linux but have read a lot of good stuff in the last couple of days and am pretty excited and keener than ever to get to grips with it
    Thanks again
