    Which Distro to choose?

Okay I'm a complete linux newbie and I wanna play with linux on my old pc:
    P3 600Mhz
    128MB Ram
    Some 128 MB ATI card
    30GB HD

Which distro should I try. I plan to use this PC for mainly web surfing.
I don't really want a stripped down version, but if thats all I can run on my setup than thats fine.

Its really up to you, What I did was try many distro's and looked witch was best for me. But in my opinion, Ubuntu or Fedora are good distro's for beginners.

    Welcome to the forums!

Here's a poll that was taken regarding favorite distro for older/weaker computer hardware:

Also, take a look at the link in my signature for lots of good information regarding getting started with Linux.

Looking at your specs, I wouldn't advise Fedora - it's one of the more power hungry distros. Ubuntu would be good, though, although you might consider Xubuntu as a lighter alternative. 12B mb of Ram is fine for most distributions, but I think I'd keep away from the 'heavier' ones all the same.
