I need to install linux on my data recovery box, that uses a promise sata card and 4 bay esata enclosure, that I use for data reocvery, so I often mount 4 drive lvm volumes and do a lot of drive cloning what would you guys suggest the best distro for this. Currently I am using ubuntu but latly had issues when I am booting up with flacky drives in the enclosures, where the system for some reason will not boot xwindows properly so any clue on the best distro for this?
