    hi,
    how do i know if a sw is installed and works perfectly in fc6.i use package manager or add/remove sw to check if they r installed.but how to know if they run properly?

    Execute package in Terminal/Konsole and if it doesn't throw any error, its working fine.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
