hi,
i forgot the username and pwd for one of my logins in fc6.i got the username by going thro /etc/passwd file.but the pwd is encrypted.can anyone tel me how to retrive or switch to a new pwd??

Log in as root user and execute this
Assign new password for that user.Code:passwd user_name
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
