Open file in nano and edit it.
    Code:
    nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Press Ctrl+X, Y and hit Enter key.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Okk ! Post all Section Screen here.
Are these Refresh rates supported by your Monitor? Check Monitor's Manual.
    Code:
    Section "Monitor"
        Identifier "Generic Monitor"
        Option "DPMS"
         HorizSync 28-33
        VertRefresh 43-72
     EndSection

this is a small sony vaio laptop, several years old, and i have no idea if i ever had a monitor manual. i DO know that xserver-xorg reconfigure says that values under 30 for the horizsync are extremely rare. i don't know if those refresh rates are supported by the monitor. sorry.
