i bought a book to help set all the things i need and want but that may not be covered yet.
i actually switched completely over to ubuntu studios today.
after a painful day of trying to get any form of an os up.

It depends on which package and services you are using.what are the deamons you dont really want.

cool i will getright on that list. right now i have a laptop but am in process of waiting for a desk top parts to arrive so i shall have both.
so itried that command it soes not work.
i switched to ubuntu studio 32bit so that may be why
