Read/Write support for Ext2/3 in Windows
If anyone has ever wanted to get access to their Linux partition from Windows - and this is read AND write access !!.
Then here's how:
1. Download the Ext2IFS installer from here
2. Install it and when the installer asks, select a drive letter for your linux install partition. Not the swap partition.
3. Restart. (Sometimes not needed)
You now should be able to read and write to Ext2 & Ext3 partitions.
It will be a drive in My Computer with the drive letter that you selected in the installation.
Notes:
You can change and delete any file no matter who the owner of the file is so be careful!!
Sometimes it will ask you to format the drive (DON'T DO THIS). That means that scummy Windows didn't mount the partition correctly. This will fix up by itself at some stage.
It is safe to change the label of the Linux partition in My Computer
Only for x86 versions of Windows NT4.0/2000/XP/2003/Vista
Totally Free!!

I am using fs-driver for a long time and it works fine. I didn't any problem till now.
Note:: One should not edit/delete system files of Linux OS from Windows OSes.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
